October 2025 Cooking Demo


This month, Pattie made 3 heart healthy low carb and delicious recipes.



Pattie's note:

  • Cannellini Bean salad: I added fresh chopped beet to the salad. I also omitted salt since I used regular canned beans; not the low sodium or no salt added kind. You can also swap other kind of beans in this recipe, however, I love buttery taste from cannellini beans. Additionally, feel free to add other fresh vegetables such as cucumber, carrot or celery and use other herbs such as basil, mint or scallion instead of parsleys.

  •  Garlic Roasted Salmon & Brussels Sprouts: I used cauliflower and cabbage instead of Brussels sprouts. You can also use broccolis in this recipe as well. I also used rice cooking wine instead of white wine. You can also use chicken stock or beef broth instead of wine.
